Meet the Jury

With an industrial engineer degree from Columbia University and experience on Wall Street, Mindy Prugnaud was destined for a high-flying corporate career. Her next move was a surprise that shaped her path: she applied to Saks Fifth Avenue, where she was accepted into the executive training program and took her first steps into the world of the international fashion trade. 

After moving to Hong Kong and furthering her international expertise, she moved to Paris where she joined Mint Merchandising Group, which she expanded the company into the European buying office for Saks Fifth Avenue, Hudson’s Bay Company and David Jones. Be it through her best-in-town network or working with leading digital platform NuOrder, Mindy has set the standard for a seamless professional buying experience and cemented the position of the group across its key markets. 

With her discerning eye for trade and trend, Mindy views fashion beyond the confines of the runway, and is currently working on major retailtainment experiences that bring together creation and the narratives that support it. 

In addition to her involvement in culture, Mindy is a strong believer in female leadership and was recognized for her fundraising contributions to the 2016 Democratic campaign, raising a record-winning amount outside of the United States. 

Mindy lives with her family in Paris.
