Jörg Kessel

In 2005 Jörg left Das Werk as branch manager to follow his greater vision of creative filmmaking. Together with the then still existing VCC Jörg founded todays seed.digital.vision. Jörg is not only a passionate filmmaker, he could basically be counted as one of the veterans among the creative industry and has been a first mover in the film industry ever since. He started his career as a camera and editing apprentice in 1990. Quickly his good sense for great design became apparent when he was involved as Head of Production for Das Werk in redesigning the station trailers for ZDF together with Razor Fish.

During that time, his talent was also recognized by legends like Wim Wenders or the iconic director, author and producer Hermann Vaske, with whom he realized award-winning art-film projects, which were also the opening films at the Cannes Lions three times in a row. The combination of his personal passion –experimental film - and his brand communication skills were intertwined. Bringing together things that do not belong together in collages and individual fragments is what excites him the most.

Moreover, Jörg definitely can be considered a pioneer of content creation – in 2011 he produced approximately 10.000 clips in 9 months for HRS by assembling a team of 40 DoPs around Europe and established standardizing production procedures. Always with the motto "Try. Fail. Try again. Fail better", he has successfully created, implemented and executed many motion graphics and design projects over the years for major clients and agencies such as CBRE, Chesterfield, Deutsche Bahn, Deutsche Bank, DJI, Leo Burnett, Lidl, Nestlé, Mediaplus/Serviceplan, Ogilvy, SodaStream and many more. He is a driving force, relentlessly looking for the next technical and creative challenge and successfully mastering it. Proven by the many awards he has collected over the years - whether it be ADC, Media Cannes, RedDot, Grandprix - his shelf is full of silver, gold and a bit of bronze – and now he is highly motivated to give out some.
